Course Overview

The aim of this course is to provide delegates with the knowledge and skills required to perform first, second and third party audits of OHSMS against ISO 45001:2018 in accordance with ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021 as applicable. The course will provide technical knowledge and practical skills to become a competent Lead Auditor

The course is approved by Exemplar Global earlier known as RAB-QSA and therefore is certified and has worldwide recognition.

Course Description

The course teaches fundamental auditing principles and practices in conformance with national and international accepted norms and regulations relating to OH & S requirements

By attending this course participants will also gain necessary auditing skills through activity based learning and practical auditing experience with coaching, group workshop and open forum discussions.

Experienced trainers guide participants through the entire audit process; from initiation to conducting follow up

Successful completion of this course by passing the relevant examination and skills assessment will demonstrate knowledge and basic skills to undertake and lead a management system audit

Participants succeeding the exam will be given a Lead Auditor Training certificate and those who fail shall be awarded an attendance certificate. The course satisfies the training requirements for initial certification as an Exemplar Global OHSMS Auditor. Further progress can be made on to the Graduate courses as offered by Exemplar Global

• Explain the role of an auditor to plan, conduct, report and follow up an OHSMS audit in accordance with ISO 45001:2018
• Plan an audit, lead a team of auditors, draft nonconformity reports
• Act with due professional care during an OH & S MS audit

Pre Requisite

A familiarity with the requirements of ISO 45001:2018 is expected. You will benefit from reading the ISO 45001:2018 standard before attending the course

Duration of course

• 05 days or 40 hours.
• Zoom platform is used for conducting the training due to COVID-19 restrictions
• Attendance is mandatory on all days
• Medium of training will be English
